Nordic–Baltic Astronomy Days 2026
The Nordic and Baltic astronomical communities will be holding a joint international meeting next spring in Turku, Finland, 26th–29th May. The abstract submission deadline is on Jan 31st, 2026.
Registration for the Nordic–Baltic Astronomy Days 2026 conference is now open!
If you are interested in networking with Nordic–Baltic astronomy and astrophysics researchers, you can register here:
The conference will take place in Turku, Finland, between May 26th and 29th. It is the spiritual successor of the 1990 Uppsala conference.
The goal of the conference is to boost collaboration between Nordic-Baltic astronomy and astrophysics researchers. For more details, see the conference website:
Notably, it is a highly affordable conference. The registration fee for junior researchers (Master and PhD students) is 100 EUR and for senior researchers 150 EUR. This includes lunch for three days, social dinner, coffee and snacks for four days, excursion to the Tuorla observatory (Space Park Väisälä), and free public transportation for six days.
We especially encourage junior researchers from all Nordic–Baltic countries to participate, because we have a generous amount of financial aid to partially reimburse their travel and accommodation costs. Even senior researchers from the Nordic–Baltic countries can ask for this aid.
The abstract submission deadline is on Jan 31st, 2026.
